Nelson Ould, Lead Pastor (nelsono@thirdpres.org)
Nelson left a career in banking to become a pastor, because he believes the church is the hope of the world. He’s committed to helping the church find ways to share the message of Jesus in today’s world. Nelson grew up in Richmond, where he attended Freeman High School, before going to Washington and Lee University. Nelson lost his first wife to cancer and now is grateful for his wife Lisa, of four years, who is truly his life’s partner and companion. He loves swimming, running, skiing and just about any sport. Nelson received his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, his Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh and has served Third Church for sixteen years.

Dave Barry, Associate Pastor (daveb@thirdpres.org)
Dave is passionate about helping many more people become radical followers of Jesus. Before joining Third, Dave grew up in Atlanta, studied classical music at Berry College, won a Grammy as a member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus, and served as a missionary in Beirut, Lebanon. Dave and his wife Tera love to travel, play board games, and watch movies. They are a part of the most awesome trivia team every Wednesday night at Rare Old Times. Dave received his Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California and is ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Lynn Hardwicke, Associate Director of Family Ministry (lynnh@thirdpres.org)
Lynn’s desire is for families to treasure building a life together centered around God’s ways, along with discovering what an adventure it is to walk and talk with Jesus! Lynn grew up in Southwest Virginia, singing and dancing her way through 35 states by the end of her college days. She loves being out in nature, hosting gatherings of all sizes, learning something new, and traveling the world to see what God has created. Professionally, Lynn’s career has included theme park marketing, start-up of a software company, homeschooling, and teaching at several Christian schools before coming to Third. Within the church since her twenties, Lynn has served in Single Adult Ministry, Worship Bands, and Women’s Ministries. Lynn and her husband, Warren, have grown daughters, and at current count, 11 grandchildren. Lynn received her Communications degree from Virginia Tech, an Elementary Education certification from University of Richmond, and a Masters of Curriculum Design from Averett University.
