Though our setting may suggest a congregation that is just getting started, Third {pump road} already has strengths and resources to its advantage.

{pump road} is the latest in a series of new churches birthed by Richmond’s Third Presbyterian Church, founded in 1835.  Third is known for the quality of its worship, emphasis on Bible study, and reaching out with the love of Christ to people in need, whether around the corner or around the globe.  We at {pump road} are committed to building on this reputation.

Curious about the Bible and the Christian faith, or what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ?  Our small groups are called Missional Fellowships, a place where you can experience community, discipleship, and outreach.  They are always open for people to join!

Hoping your child can have a Vacation Bible School experience like you that you remember?  Our Children’s Ministry staff provides leadership for a yearly VBS program that attracts over 200 children from within the church and wider community.

Seeking a place that will help instil strong values in your teen?  Third’s Student Ministry has a host of resources to nurture strong character in and build healthy relationships among teens.

Looking for a wholesome place where you or your family can make connections with others in the area?  We have a variety of special programs and events designed to have a broad appeal across the West End and Short Pump communities.

The resources of a large church, the coziness of a small church.  With a sense of what works and an openness to trying new things, Third {pump road} is well positioned to extend itself to those in Short Pump and the West End who might not otherwise entertain the church experience – because they never have, or because the memory of a past disappointment in the church setting has kept them away.  Whatever your background, whatever your motivation, our doors are open to you!
